Work sample Year 10 Economics and Business: Business improvement processes

This work sample demonstrates evidence of student learning in relation to aspects of the achievement standards for Year 10 Economics and Business. The primary purpose for the work sample is to demonstrate the standard, so the focus is on what is evident in the sample not how it was created. The sample is an authentic representation of student work and may contain errors such as spelling mistakes and other inaccuracies. In this work sample students: • They explain processes that businesses use to manage the workforce and improve productivity • interpret and analyse information and data to make predictions about consumer and financial impacts • evaluate a response, using appropriate criteria to decide on a course of action • use economic and business knowledge, concepts, and terms to develop descriptions, explanations and reasoned arguments that synthesise research findings
